Good day, I put the presets I made for Alaska sham Good day, I put the presets I made for Alaska shamelessly on pictures from Bavaria and it worked, I think. I was there yesterday but yesterday was best-nine-day, so you get those today. Please don‘t think I‘m already wanderlusting the shit out of 2022, I‘m not. I am lazy today and my only humble resolution/ambition/goal for 2022 is – for everyone I somewhat like – to at least not get worse physically and/or mentally. (You are allowed to feel appropriately pressured. ) Love! 😘
Yea well. This is mainly myself, and no surprise, Yea well. This is mainly myself, and no surprise, because Pandemic - The Sequel. This year was not so much fun, and also is it just me or does it get harder every year to get a best nine picture (in the same simple style as the years before) generated? I did it manually this time. 🙄

For chronological reasons: I recently adopted an a For chronological reasons: I recently adopted an already killed tree and it now lives on my balcony and it decorated with bird food, but the arrogant Hamburg city avian population turns a blind eye to bite-sized bites, recent yelp reviews show they want the ”whole ass peanuts“ from my regular feeder back and are boycotting any other means of food providing. Sad. I hope the tree is still happy though.

The day I saw safety instructions peaking out of t The day I saw safety instructions peaking out of the old airplane seats and I had to investigate immediately, before other grave robbers take my rightfully spotted treasure. With office cutlery, because I’m a professional. Turned out the sister seat also had swallowed some ✨treasure✨ – unfortunately it turned out to be trash. That was sad. Please don’t lose boring stuff in seats.
PS They still smell like aircraft cabins 😌 #aviationlife

I may not habe much in life, but look at my クル I may not habe much in life, but look at my クルス! Kurusu, or Cruise was the original Water Starter planned for the second Pokémon Generation. It was part of the infamous 1997 Space World Demo, then later they exchanged Kurusu for Totodile, which is my opinion the less cute choice. Some time ago, the Space World Demo found its way to the internet and I. Was. Intrigued. Actually, you can‘t do much in the Demo, the Start & Select buttons seem to be disabled, so I couldn‘t see Kurusu from the front yet. (Maybe there‘s a way. Edit: I can look the profile during a fight. But can‘t add it here now, well. It‘s cute.) Theoretically, a lot of interesting stuff is already implemented, a pokedex that contains a lot of beta Pokémon, like Baby versions of Vulpix, Growlithe, Ponyta & Meowth, which would have all been very lovely and I‘d trade Magby or Smoochum for them Any. Time.
So, luckily, other people already went into the Demo‘s code and all that‘s there to see is out there, Sprites, Sounds, Data. But the is nothing like new content on my very own not backlit GameBoy screen. Because discovering mysteries (and glitches) on Pokémon is one of the best childhood memories. 💆🏻‍♀️
Anchorage had been on my bucket list for the longe Anchorage had been on my bucket list for the longest time, but I imagined it completely wrong. Instead of the capital of joyful Flannel shirt wearing outdoorsy people, Anchorage had (for me) quite a depressing vibe. Deserted malls, lots of seemingly low income Natives. And somehow stuck in the past, but not in a romantic way.

So today I tried some presets on my photos (from 2019) to see if that works, and well. Enough to share here, even though I deemed ANC not exactly insta-worthy before. 🙈

Want to see someone who pushed herself to a new re Want to see someone who pushed herself to a new record because she promised herself there would be a cocktail on the finish line and then ALL THE BOAT-THROUGHS WERE CLOSED??? Here you go. Tadaa. Started my annual Paddling-Down-the-Alster a bit further up this time, at Wohlsdorfer Schleuse, which might the journey back home ~25km. The new part wasn’t that much different from what I already knew. I had high hopes for Rodenbeker Quellental, but it was not so special. My fav part remais after Rodenbeker Quellental, and from Poppenbüttler Schleuse until the special effects end. Anyways, I feel accomplished because I had no training, the boat hat still lives on, and my body will seek revenge tomorrow so I have an excuse to be lazy. Yay. (Also I need to tape my thumbs, I’m probably paddling all wrong, but shhhh) #imonaboat #paddling #alster #microadventure
Post-Work-Swims, your homegirl missed you. 💘 Ha Post-Work-Swims, your homegirl missed you. 💘 Hamburg withdraw mandatory tests for some swimming pools again (it is indeed ridiculously empty here), making somewhat spontaneous swims possible again (there are timeslots, but enough). I’m not exactly fine at the moment, everyone seems to be isolated in their own bubble of problems, and by mind is constantly giving me a hard time. I know I am not able to do my best at the moment and that SUCKS. I’m sure you know that feeling. But getting my head under water is suchhhhh a relief.😌 (And oh yes, we got lucky with the weather)

“dress for the summer evening you want, not the “dress for the summer evening you want, not the one you have” - my old place became my personal mansion of madness™. Who would have thought that a flat in good condition would still be so much work? And so much eBay Kleinanzeigen anxiousness? And so much vacuuming? Also, it was warm and full of paint fumes, blame the crazy on that.
The previous tenants left me with clogged drains - The previous tenants left me with clogged drains - first the bathroom (found a toothbrush inside) and yesterday the kitchen sink. So I geared up to channel my inner Meredith Grey. Whatever helps, eh. (Surgery was successful, tumour removed, sink draining like a superstar.) #greysanatony #altbauadventure
