Und zwar, seit ich davon wusste. Meistens ist es ja sehr unrealistisch, an sehr coole Orte zu kommen. Man h\u00f6rt davon, man guckt nach, und dann liegt das am Arsch der Welt mitten in der S\u00fcdsee, wie diese Insel, die Niue hei\u00dft, auf der es gratis Wlan und legitime M\u00fcnzen mit Pikachu drauf geben soll. Ich hab mich schon informiert, von Auckland aus geht zweimal die Woche ein Flugzeug. (Abruptes Ende der Planung.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nina-jaeger.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_0259.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1586\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nina-jaeger.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_0259.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0259\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.nina-jaeger.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_0259.jpg 900w, http:\/\/www.nina-jaeger.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_0259-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Maho Beach liegt auf der karibischen Insel Sint Maarten\/Saint Martin, die zu H\u00e4lfte zu den Niederlanden und zur anderen H\u00e4lfte zu Frankreich geh\u00f6rt. Die Insel ist eine der n\u00f6rdlicheren der Karibik, westlich davon sind die Virgin Islands, noch weiter westlich Puerto Rico und <em>noch<\/em>&nbsp;weiter westlich die sehr heterogene Landmasse, auf dem das sehr arme Haiti und das sehr touristische Domrep drauf sind. Also gar nicht so weit ab vom Schuss. Auf Puerto Rico war ich ja immerhin schon mal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nina-jaeger.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_6018.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1628\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nina-jaeger.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_6018.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6018.JPG\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Das besondere an Sint Maarten ist der Flughafen, der Princess Juliana International Airport auf der holl\u00e4ndischen Seite, dessen Landebahn direkt nach einem kleinen \u00f6ffentlich Strandabschnitt, dem Maho Beach, beginnt. Zwischen Strand und Flughafen ist nur eine kleine zweispurige Stra\u00dfe. Alle Flugzeuge fliegen also \u00fcbers Meer an und&nbsp;ziehen dann sehr tief \u00fcber den Strand hinweg. Feb 2015 um 11:37 Uhr<\/time><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/platform.instagram.com\/en_US\/embeds.js\" async=\"\" defer=\"defer\"><\/script>Ich nehme an, dass es kleine Inselflugh\u00e4fen viele gibt, bei denen auch st\u00e4ndig Maschinen \u00fcber oder auf Str\u00e4nden landen. Am Maho Beach kommt aber dazu, dass die europ\u00e4ischen Kolonialherren mit den gr\u00f6\u00dftm\u00f6glichen Maschinen \u00fcber den Atlantik brettern m\u00fcssen, denn<em> nat\u00fcrlich<\/em> m\u00fcssen Direktverbindungen von Amsterdam und Paris aufrecht erhalten werden um einen stetigen Fluss von Pionieren zu garantieren. Und im Gegenzug dazu werden kostbare Gew\u00fcrze, Tee , Kamele, Elefanten und exotische Singv\u00f6gel zur\u00fcck nach Europa transportiert. Resultat: Jeden zweiten Tag ein KLM Jumbo, jeden Tag ein AirFrance A340. Das sind gro\u00dfe Flugzeuge mit gro\u00dfen R\u00fcmpfen und vier Triebwerken. <em>Dann<\/em> kommt aber noch dazu, dass in die gesamte Karibik (jetzt wohl auch inklusive Kuba), amerikanische Touristen kommen. Bl\u00f6d w\u00e4ren sie ja, wenn sie das nicht machen w\u00fcrden. Also kommen da noch jede Menge Kurzstreckenmaschinen aus den USA und Kanada an. Manchmal auch aus S\u00fcdamerika, aber haupts\u00e4chlich doch von oben. <em>Dann<\/em> kommt noch der interkaribische Luftverkehr mit etwas kleineren Maschinen dazu.&nbsp;<em>Dann&nbsp;<\/em>kommt dazu, dass Sint Maarten praktisch Umsteigestation f\u00fcr alle m\u00f6glichen Schn\u00f6sel ist, die nach St. Barth wollen. (<em>Oui, <i>Saint-Barth. canyoubelieveit.) <\/i><\/em>Die fliegen mit <em>sehr<\/em> kleinen Maschinen, die sicher jedes Mal abst\u00fcrzen, wenn ihnen exotische Singv\u00f6gel in den Propeller fliegen, oder mit Privatjets. Also: Jede Menge Flugzeuge. Die Attraktion ist der KLM Jumbo, der etwa jeden zweiten Tag gegen Mittag kommt, und darauf kann man seinen Ausflug genau planen. Netterweise tauchen dann auch Guides auf, die f\u00fcr zu viel Geld Fotos von einem machen. Au\u00dferdem haben die Megafone dabei, und rufen st\u00e4ndig&nbsp;<em>The big one&#8217;s coming, that&#8217;s the big one, everybody&nbsp;get ready, everybody look up.&nbsp;<\/em>Falls man \u00fcbersehen sollte, dass ein immenses Flugzeug \u00fcber einen hinweg donnert. Es gibt ein Surfbrett am Strand, auf dem die Ankunftszeiten notiert sind, also die planm\u00e4\u00dfigen, nicht die tats\u00e4chlichen an diesem Tag.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nina-jaeger.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_6019.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1627\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nina-jaeger.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_6019.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6019.JPG\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Au\u00dferdem jede Menge Schilder, die vor&nbsp;<em>jet blast&nbsp;<\/em>warnen: Es ist n\u00e4mlich cool, aber auch sehr dumm, sich beim Start einer Maschine an den Zaun zur Landebahn zu klammern. Da wie erw\u00e4hnt alle Maschinen zur Bergseite starten, stehen sie dann mit dem Heck zum Strand und geben Schub. Oft bl\u00e4st es dann Menschen gegen die Betonabgrenzungen der Stra\u00dfe und&nbsp;sie tun sich weh. Oder, laut Schildern, sterben, aber ich glaube, das ist konkret noch nicht passiert. Regen, Wind,&nbsp;so kalt, dass es einen friert, wenn es gerade auch regnet und windig ist. Eine Copa Airlines Maschine landet gar nicht erst, sondern startet durch, also wohl auch&nbsp;<em>ungew\u00f6hnlich <\/em>viel Windregen. Mein aufblasbarer &#8222;<em>Dekorationsartikel, nicht im Wasser verwenden&#8220;-<\/em>Airbus&nbsp;A380, der f\u00fcr jedes Wasser mein Go-To-Schwimmtier ist, zerschellt elendig in der Brandung. (Inzwischen habe ich einen neuen.
